At Your Work

It's a fact that people spend most of their lives at work. Therefore, for the pro-life message to find an audience, there has to be someone in the workplace to spread the pro-life message in a discreet, appropriate way. You can be this person.

In general, a pro-life representative at work spreads the pro-life message simply by standing up for the unborn and the elderly whenever the water-cooler conversation revolves around life issues. Another way is to discretely invite coworkers who seem to be open to the message to receive the QLC Newsletter or to attend QLC events, presentations, or conferences.

Finally, a particular group of workers can especially help QLC:

  • Teachers: They, more than anyone else - even more than parents - have an opportunity to teach the young about the sanctity of life. We need pro-life teachers who are willing to impart their knowledge of the sacredness of all human life to their students.
  • Health Workers: Whether in a retirement home or in a hospital, a health worker can influence the way the sick, infirm, elderly, and the vulnerable in general are perceived and taken care of. We need people who take the defense of the vulnerable seriously, and who teach by example that one ought always treat a human being with the utmost respect.
